Lost Popeye Zine, Volume 11: Admiral Popeye PDF

Lost Popeye Zine, Volume 11 is comprised of the storyline “Admiral Popeye”, which sees Popeye forming his own navy for Spinachova (not to be confused with King Blozo’s island kingdom “Spinachovia”). A couple weeks into this story, Pearl Harbor was attacked so this storyline begins Thimble Theatre’s contributions to the war effort (be on the lookout for bond-buying ads).

This storyline ran from November 24, 1941-March 31, 1942. The writer and artist are Tom Sims and Bela Zaboly, respectively.
